Appz Budget is a self-hosted application that stores all data locally on your infrastructure.

• Financial Data: All your transactions, categories, budgets, and financial information are stored locally in a SQLite database on your self-hosted instance. We do not have access to this data.
• No Analytics: We do not collect any usage statistics, crash reports, or telemetry data. The application runs entirely on your infrastructure.

2. Information We DO NOT Collect

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your financial data (transactions, budgets, categories).
• We do not collect your personal identification information.
• We do not track your location.
• We do not access any data from your server or infrastructure.
• We do not use cookies or tracking technologies.

3. Local Data Storage

• All your financial data is stored exclusively on your self-hosted Docker container using SQLite database.
• Data never leaves your infrastructure unless you explicitly export it.
• You have complete control over your data through the application's features.
• Removing the Docker container or its volumes will permanently remove all stored data.

4. Data Export and Backup

• You can export your data at any time to create backups.
• You are responsible for implementing backup strategies for your Docker volumes.
• You are responsible for securing and protecting your exported data files.
• We recommend regular backups to prevent data loss.

5. Third-Party Services

• Appz Budget operates entirely on your infrastructure and does not integrate with third-party services that access your financial data.
• The application does not make any external network requests.
• If we introduce optional cloud features in the future, they will be clearly communicated and require explicit opt-in consent.

6. Data Security

• Your data is protected by your own infrastructure security measures.
• We recommend keeping your server and Docker installation secure and updated.
• We recommend using HTTPS with a valid SSL certificate if exposing the application to the internet.
• Consider implementing authentication and access controls appropriate for your use case.

7. Your Rights

• You own all your financial data completely.
• You can delete all data by removing the Docker container and its volumes.
• You can export all your data at any time.
• No account creation with us is required to use the app.
• You have full control over your data at all times.

8. Open Source Transparency

Appz Budget is open-source software. You can review our source code on GitHub to verify our privacy practices. We believe in transparency and welcome community review of our codebase.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Policy. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
