1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to use this App.
• This App is intended for personal budget management purposes by individuals and households.

2. Data Ownership

• All financial data you enter into Appz Budget (transactions, categories, budgets) belongs entirely to you.
• We do not access, view, or process your financial data as it is stored locally on your self-hosted instance.
• You are solely responsible for backing up your data and maintaining your self-hosted infrastructure.

3. Usage Policy

By using Appz Budget, you agree:

• To use the app only for lawful personal finance management purposes.
• Not to use the app for illegal activities or to facilitate unlawful transactions.
• Not to attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or exploit the App beyond its open-source license terms.
• To maintain accurate and truthful financial records in compliance with applicable laws.

4. Self-Hosted Infrastructure

• Appz Budget is designed to be self-hosted using Docker on your own infrastructure.
• All data is stored locally in an SQLite database within your Docker container.
• The App functions entirely on your infrastructure and does not send data to external servers.
• Removing the Docker container or its volumes will permanently delete all your financial data.
• We strongly recommend implementing regular backups of your Docker volumes and database.

5. Data Management

• You can export your data at any time for backup or migration purposes.
• You are responsible for the security of your self-hosted instance and data.
• We are not responsible for data loss due to infrastructure failures, misconfiguration, or lack of backups.

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is paramount. Appz Budget is designed as a self-hosted application that keeps your financial data entirely under your control. Since you host the application yourself, your data never leaves your infrastructure. We do not collect, store, or have access to any of your financial information.

7. Open Source License

Appz Budget is open-source software released under the MIT License. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the software in accordance with the license terms. The source code is available on GitHub.

8. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically for updates.

9. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any financial losses, data loss, or damages arising from your use of the App. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your financial data and ensuring the security of your self-hosted infrastructure.
